What I Do#
I build platforms and data products that operate at serious scale. At Navitaire (an Amadeus company), these products and services power airline operations for 40+ carriers serving approximately 1 billion passengers annually.
Currently, I’m focused on cloud platform engineering, data products, and AI enablement. I’m developing Navitaire’s AI strategy and leading its implementation across our product suite. I’ve designed streaming and batch data products that process billions of transactions each year, giving airlines real-time access to operational data. More recently, I have been working on developing our AI platform and integrating it directly into products to improve airline personnel productivity and drive airline revenue growth.
Before platform and data, I led digital innovation at Navitaire including the design and architecture of our next generation thin client user interfaces, RESTful APIs, synthetic data generation using AI/ML, mixed reality solutions for airport operations, and the world’s first VR booking experience.
My Approach#
I’m drawn to problems at the intersection of infrastructure, data, and emerging technology — particularly where solutions must work in complex, regulated environments. My approach: build platforms and products that deliver immediate value while laying the foundation for what comes next.
Beyond Work#
Outside of Navitaire, I’m a perpetual learner, spending hours each week exploring new technologies and business techniques. When I’m not learning or building, you’ll find me with my wife and children, hiking the outdoors, or traveling the world to experience new places and cultures.
